Hurricane Ridge

Hurricane Ridge is the gateway to dozens of amazing trails and views! Simply park at the visitor's center and you'll experience gorgeous 180 degree views without even leaving your vehicle! Or hike for miles across the ridgelines! See wildflowers and marmots in the summertime, and enjoy skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. We like to brave Obstruction Peak trail and hike down to the pristine mountain lakes.

 

 

Visitor Center Amenities

• Open daily in summer; hours vary remainder of year.
• Visitor information, exhibits about the Olympic's mountain habitats, Passport stamping station, 20-minute orientation film shown on request. Guided walks and talks are offered during the summer. Nearby short trails, often snow-covered well into May.
• Snack bar and gift shop (both open seasonally) are located on the Visitor Center's lower level.
