Or hike for miles across the ridgelines! In the summertime, you can see wildflowers and marmots, and in the winter, you can enjoy skiing or snowshoeing. We like to brave the Obstruction Peak trail and hike down to the pristine mountain lakes.
Visitor Center Amenities
- Open daily in summer; hours vary for the remainder of the year.
- Visitor information exhibits about the Olympics’s mountain habitats, a Passport stamping station, and a 20-minute orientation film shown on request.
- Guided walks and talks are offered during the summer. Nearby short trails, often snow-covered well into May.
- The snack bar and gift shop (both open seasonally) are located on the Visitor Center’s lower level.
