Stretching along the north coast of the Olympic Peninsula inside of the Dungeness Spit, these pebbly shores provide a tranquil escape with sweeping views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, distant peaks of Canada & the San Juan Islands, and the historic New Dungeness Lighthouse. The beach is ideal for beachcombing, birdwatching, and picnicking. You can often spot a variety of marine life, including crabs, sea otters, seals, and small fish. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll, a picnic spot, or a chance to immerse yourself in nature, the beaches of Dungeness Bay provide a serene and captivating experience.
